Mother Nature pelted the participants and onlookers of the 2016 Clifton Forge, Virginia 4th of July parade on Monday, but that didn't stop the overall celebration from continuing. The Declaration of Independence was read by several area citizens, several war veterans were recognized, the Virginia Highlands Pipes and Drums Band performed and much more.
