| First Annual Linda Patrick Raffle For Boys' Home Set
|
| For the first time, Boys’ Home is conducting a raffle for a Linda Patrick print. Linda Patrick, a well-known Shenandoah Valley artist, donated the print entitled, “Miracle of Love.”
The piece focuses on a collie’s love for his master. The water colors capture the mood of the collie that always protects and guards the homeplace. His love is not controlled by mood or personality, but is a combination of trust, loyalty and patience. The end of the lane is his place to stand guard and wait for his master’s return. Shenandoah Framing in Lexington donated the framing for the print.
The print will be on display at these area businesses: Highlands Community Bank, Covington, BB&T, Hot Springs and BB&T, Clifton Forge.
Raffle tickets may be purchased by using the coupon available wherever the print is displayed or by calling 965-7714. All raffle entries must be received by March 15. All proceeds directly benefit the programs at Boys’ Home. | | | | | |
