Greenbrier Valley Theatre Celebrates Black History Month   Greenbrier Valley Theatre invites everyone to The Blues: America’s Indigenous and Unique Art Form in celebration of Black History Month on Friday, February 19 at 7:30pm. The event features the John Wesley Methodist Church Choir, Greenbrier Academy for Girls African Drumming and Dancing Group, and local well-known musicians and speakers showcasing the history and evolution of the musical style called The Blues. The event includes demonstrations and examples of the melding of African and American musical cultures and their global influences. Admission is free and seating is first come, first serve.
