7. VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (VDOT) UPDATE:
A. Ms. Susan Hammond, VDOT Resident Engineer - Update and presentation on the draft Secondary Six Year Plan.
8. ACTION ITEMS:
A. Consent Items
1. Approve a major amendment to the “Solid Waste Management Plan for the Alleghany Highlands.”
2. Approve the reappointment of Mr. Kevin Terrell (Jackson River District) and Mr. George Keller (Clifton Forge East District) to the Planning Commission for a term of four years beginning four years beginning March 2, 2010 and ending March 1, 2014.
3. Approve the reappointment of Mr. Phillip Bowen (Jackson River District) and Mr. Jack Kimberlin (Clifton Forge East District) to the Water and Sewer Commission for a term of four years beginning March 2, 2010 and ending March 1, 2014.

A. Mr. Corbin Stone, Robinson Farmer Cox Associates - Presentation of the County audit for the year ending June 30, 2009.
B. Mr. Rick Sheets and Rev. Roger Bush - Update on TAP activities.
C. Mrs. Ingrid Barber, Alleghany Highlands Community Services Executive Director, and Ms. Donna Campbell, Supervisor of Emergency Services - Quarterly update on AHCS programs.
D. Mrs. Brenda Goodale - Discuss cat situation in Low Moor.
9. INFORMATION ITEMS (Cont’d.):
E. Discuss revision to Low Moor Mine option agreement.
F. Discuss fuel pump rehabilitation.
G. The term of Mr. Michael Vint on the LOA Advisory Board expires March 31, 2010. Terms are for three years and a replacement needs to be made for Mr. Vint.
H. The term of Mr. Ed Stein, Commonwealth Attorney, on the Court-Community Corrections Regional Community Criminal Justice Board and the Alcohol Safety Action Program expires March 31, 2010. Terms are for three years and Mr. Stein is eligible for reappointment.
I. Discuss an appointment to the Industrial Development Authority to replace the seventh rotating member whose term expires March 25, 2010. Terms are for four years and it is the County’s turn to make this appointment.
