The Carnegie Car show is an open registration—open to all cars, trucks and motorcycles. Entry fee is $15. Registration begins at 10am. Awards will be given out by 3pm with over 50 trophies being distributed. Concessions will be available on site beginning at 10am. Call 304.645.5055 for more details.

Throttle Throbs Car Club hosts 3 - 4 car shows a year in the Greenbrier Valley area. All proceeds benefit the Greg Carter Scholarship fund. Each year scholarships are awarded to graduating seniors from the two high schools in Greenbrier County. Students apply for the scholarship and recipients are selected by Throttle Throbs members based on their financial need. The scholarships help these students with the cost of their first year of college. For questions about the club or any of their car shows, please email the club president Ron Ness at rnesswv@yahoo.com.

Remember, the Rhythm, Blues and All That Jazz weekend will kick-off on Thursday, June 24, with an Ivy Terrace featuring Vern’s Pot O’ Chili. On Friday, June 25, spend the evening with the jazz favorites, the Bob Thompson Unit. Saturday will be packed with festivities including the 1st annual Carnegie Car Show presented by Throttle Throbs Car Club. The Back Alley Lounge, sponsored by the American Beer Company, will open at 3pm. John Hammond takes the stage at 3:30, followed by Janiva Magness and closing out the weekend will be Terrance Simien and the Zydeco Experience.

(Carnegie Hall thanked its sponsors: Mike Donahue Management, Greg & Libby Johnson, Sarah & Jim Umberger, Vein Care of the Virginias and Russell Williams and Annamarie Visclosky and the Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation).
