12th Annual Douthat Arts and Crafts Fair July 31st   The Twelfth Annual Douthat State Park Arts and Crafts Fair will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2010, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Discovery Center. More than 48 Crafters will be displaying and selling their handcrafted items including jewelry making, turkey calls, wood work, paintings, bird houses, and more. This will be the perfect place to buy items to dress up your home or get a jump start on gifts for any holiday or celebration. There will be something for everyone at the fair. This year the Arts and Crafts Fair has been moved down to the Discovery Center for more space. Admission to the fair is free for everyone. There is a $3.00 per vehicle parking fee. Any crafter interested in participating may register by calling Jaimie Lomasney at the Park Office at (540) 862-8125. All spaces are filled on a first paid, first served basis. The registration fee for a 10’ by 15’ space is $20.00 and for an electric 10’ by 15’ space is $35.00. A registration form can be found at www.douthatspeed.org.
