 | Dr. Russell D. Jamison, Dean of the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Engineering was recently a guest lecturer for students of the Jackson River Governor’s School. The theme of Dr. Jamison’s presentation was careers that merge the fields of engineering and medical care. The Governor’s School, located on the Dabney S. Lancaster Community College campus in Clifton Forge, serves high school juniors and seniors with advanced interests and abilities in science, mathematics and technology.
