Emily Kimberlin was recently a guest lecturer for students of Jackson River Governor’s School (JRGS). Ms. Kimberlin conducted a workshop for JRGS students interested in a career in veterinary medicine. The workshop included an overview of careers, required education, and qualifications for admission to a school of veterinary medicine. JRGS is located on the Dabney S. Lancaster Community College campus in Clifton Forge and serves high school juniors and seniors with advanced interests and abilities in science, mathematics and technology. Several current students are interested in a career in veterinary medicine. Ms. Kimberlin is completing her final year of study at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine located on the campus of Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. She is married to Josh Kimberlin of Covington and is the daughter of Eddie and Brenda Graham of Clifton Forge.
