Senator Bill Stanley Endorses Jim McKelvey for House of Delegates   State Senator Bill Stanley (R-20th District) has announced his endorsement of Jim McKelvey for Delegate in the race to replace retiring Delegate Lacey Putney in the 19th House District. In his endorsement, Stanley states that “Jim is a trusted friend and the only true conservative running in the Republican Primary in the 19th District on May 7th. What I most admire about Jim is not only his character and his integrity, but also his keen understanding of the important issues facing the citizens of the Commonwealth today. Jim has unlimited energy, a “can do” spirit, and is a proven problem solver who will work tirelessly in Richmond for the people he serves.” “Jim McKelvey’s no-nonsense approach to the issues may ruffle some feathers in Richmond among those who are not used to straight talk and action; but, Jim is a man of his word, will always follow through on his promises, and will never sacrifice his principles for the sake of political expediency.
