Clifton Forge, VA - Saturday, April 19, 2014 - The first annual Clifton Forge Easter Bonnet parade came off without a hitch earlier today with a fine contingent of local residents showing up in various states of millinery.
On hand for the event were several public officials, including mayor Carl Brinkley and Councilwoman Johnette Roberts as well as town manager, Darlene Burcham, just to name a few.
The parade started in front of the Clifton Forge Elks Lodge and continued down Ridgeway St. garnering more than a few smiles along the way.
Also on hand were several members of the area Humane Society with animals currently available for adoption.
