| Kroger invites customers to celebrate Earth Day by looking to the sea through a video series designed to inform customers about the company’s work to source sustainable seafood.
“Our customers value Kroger’s commitment to sourcing sustainable seafood,” said Emily Mink, meat merchandiser for the Mid-Atlantic region. “We work closely with fisheries and our supplier partners in Virginia to ensure that Kroger’s seafood is fresh, delicious and available for future generations.”
Kroger’s strategy for responsibly-sourced seafood—which was developed in partnership with the World Wildlife Fund—is explored in the three part video series that is available at https://sustainability.kroger.com/sustainability_sustainable_seafood/index.shtml. The series has been shared through social media the past two weeks.
Every year on April 22 more than a billion people in 190 countries take actions for Earth Day. Earth Day 2014 focuses on the unique environmental challenges of our time. | | | |
