 | George Moore (left) general manager of the Hampton Inn Col Alto in Lexington, recently donated a total of 182 chairs from the hotel to the Dabney S. Lancaster Community College Rockbridge Regional Center in Buena Vista. Thanking Moore is Joe Walker, RRC director, who, with the help of DSLCC staff, relocated the chairs to use in several RRC classrooms. “DSLCC is very appreciative of this gift”, stated Dr. John Rainone, president of DSLCC. “This is an example of how community partners can assist each other with immediate needs while also helping to recycle and conserve resources within our communities.” The DSLCC Rockbridge Regional Center is located on Vista Links Drive in Buena Vista. The chairs were donated by Heritage Hospitality Management, Inc., which operates the Col Alto facility.
