The Dynamic Superiors Bring Motown to the Masonic Amphitheatre

On Saturday evening at 7:00 pm, August 16, the Motown group, the Dynamic Superiors will take the award-winning Masonic Amphitheatre stage.

In the early 1970’s, the Dynamic Superiors, a Washington DC quintet, found great success on the soul charts as one of Motown’s most unique acts. After signing with Motown, they moved to Detroit and proved to be a winning group and produced hits including “Shoe Shoe Shine” and “Leave It Alone”, both of which made the Top 20 on R&B Charts.

They toured with Stevie Wonder and The Jackson Five. Members of the R&B Hall of Fame and the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame, their sound of rich harmonies is more than refreshing as they tour the music circuit today. The Dynamic Superiors got back together again in 2005 and performed in “The Legends of Motown” Show in Annapolis, MD with Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, Joe Billingslea and The Contours as well as other great Motown performing artists. The new look and rich harmonic sound of The Dynamic Superiors entertain fans throughout the country today earning standing ovations everywhere they perform.

Tickets are available at Club Car, Heirlooms, The Tea Room, Jack Mason’s Tavern in Clifton Forge, The Vintage Bouquet and Alleghany Highlands Chamber in Covington, online at www.historicmasonictheatre.com and at the Entrance Gate prior to performance. Tickets: $10 students, $12 seniors/military, $15 adults. In case of rain, the event will be moved to the Historic Masonic Theatre.
