KROGER AWARDS COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS TO 15 CHILDREN OF ASSOCIATES IN MID-ATLANTIC REGION

 
The Kroger Foundation has awarded 15 $1,000 college scholarships to children of Kroger associates in the Mid-Atlantic region.

     The 15 students are from Kentucky, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia, the area covered by Kroger’s Mid-Atlantic region.

     The students and the associates and their home towns:

     â€¢ Ashton Sanabria, son of Michael Bradley, Kingsport, Tennessee;

     â€¢ Derek Clem, son of Shawn Clem, Clarksburg, West Virginia;

     â€¢ Seth Clevenger, son of Aaron Clevenger, Buckhannon, West Virginia;

     â€¢ Ivy Fultz, daughter of Amy Fultz, Staunton, Virginia;

     â€¢ Jacob Jones, son of Kevin Jones, North Chesterfield, Virginia;

     â€¢ Matthew Lowther, son of Laura Lowther, Clarksburg, West Virginia

     â€¢ Shea McCullough, daughter of Mark McCullough, Durham, North Carolina;

     â€¢ Emily Meadows, daughter of James Meadows, Ronceverte, West Virginia;

     â€¢ Megnan Molnar, daughter of Bruce Molnar, Roanoke, Virginia;

     â€¢ Taylor Mullens, son of Eddie Mullens, Fuquay Varina, North Carolina;

     â€¢ Sierra Hanson, daughter of Steven Norton, Johnson City, Tennessee;

     â€¢ Lynsy Sprouse, daughter of Dean Sprouse, Richmond, Virginia

     â€¢ Robert Stanley, son of Wayne Stanley, Parkersburg, West Virginia;

     â€¢ Kimberly Varner, daughter of William S. Varner, Raleigh, North Carolina;

     â€¢ Kelsey West, daughter of Clay West, Ashland, Kentucky.

     Kroger Scholars is open to children of associates across the Kroger family of stores. Funds can be used at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational program. Kroger Scholars is a program of The Kroger Co. Foundation.

For the 2014-15 school year, 366 students have received Kroger Scholar awards.
