Basic Rider Motorcycle Safety Course Set Oct. 24-26   The final Basic Rider Motorcycle Safety course for the year, hosted by Dabney S Lancaster Community College, is scheduled Friday through Sunday, October 24-26. Participants completing and passing the one-credit course, which includes a riding skills test as well as a written exam, will receive a 30-day Virginia DMV motorcycle license and a completion card from the Motorcycle Safety League. The three-day course is held on Friday from 6:30 to 9:30 pm at the DSLCC Rockbridge Regional Center in Buena Vista, and from 8 am to 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday at the Lee-Hi Travel Plaza in Lexington. Motorcycles and helmets are provided.
