Serving up a tasty salad before a meal of Cajun or Creole delights at the weekly American Regional Cuisine lunch are Dabney S Lancaster Community College Culinary Arts students (standing) Rebecca Cutlip of Fairfield and Buddy Aldrich of Lexington. Enjoying the meal are DSLCC staff members (seated, from left) Nancy Stikes and Danielle Bowyer, both of Rockbridge County, and Muriel Sloan of Lexington. The lunches are served every Tuesday at noon at the DSLCC Rockbridge Regional Center in Buena Vista and each week feature a different cuisine from around the country. The project is supervised by Norman Ruhe, Culinary Arts adjunct instructor. The cost per lunch is less than $10; to make a reservation, call (540) 261-1211. Take-out is available.
