DSLCC Seeks Input for Strategic Plan   This fall, Dabney S. Lancaster Community College is beginning a new strategic planning process in which the College will review its guiding documents, evaluate trends that may affect the College in the near future, and identify a set of goals and strategies to inform decision-making at the College over the next several years. The College periodically engages in a strategic planning process, with this recent plan intended to guide the College through 2021. The College invites all community members in its service region to participate in the next phase of the strategic planning process. This phase involves identifying and prioritizing themes on which to focus the plan’s strategic goals. To participate, community members are encouraged to visit during one of three special sessions set up for Tuesday, December 2; Wednesday, December 3; and Thursday, December 4 anytime from 10 am to 4 pm. Those willing to assist with this process will be asked to complete an activity that takes less than ten minutes. Two locations have been selected for the convenience of those who wish to share their input—Room 403, Warren Hall, on the DSLCC Clifton Forge campus or the Rockbridge Regional Center in Buena Vista. On all three days, those locations will be open and staff will be available from 10 am to 4 pm.
