| Clifton Forge, December 18, 2014 – Dabney S. Lancaster Community College and the DSLCC Educational Foundation are proud to announce that first year Dabney nursing student, Mrs. Melissa Nicole “Nikki” Wilson of Lexington, scored at the 99.86 percentile rank on the national HESI Assessment, taken by more than 35,000 nursing students across the country from all types of RN programs (Diploma, Associate Degree, and Baccalaureate Degree) within the last school year. Wilson achieved her test score on December 1, with only .14% of the nation’s nursing students earning a higher score. Her Conversion Score was 99.99%, which takes into account the average difficulty of the exam and the test items answered.
“We are very proud of Nikki and truly honored that she is a student of the Dabney RN program. We look forward to following Nikki’s future successes and know that her diligent efforts will continue to pay dividends for her,” said Rachael Thompson, Director of the DSLCC Educational Foundation.
Wilson is the wife of Mr. Michael P. Wilson and the mother of two children: Ellie and Nolan Wilson.
