The DSLCC Educational Foundation held an informative "Business After Hours" event at the college on Thursday, April 23, 2015.

Jeanette Mann, head of the Emergency Medical Services program at Dabney S. Lancaster Community College, shows Ross Hammond (left) and Glen Perry how the "simbulance" operates for students working toward their EMS-Intermediate career studies certificate. EMS was one of several programs highlighted during a "Business After Hours" event hosted by the DSLCC Educational Foundation and the Alleghany Highlands Chamber of Commerce and Tourism on April 23.

Lancaster Community College, discusses the new instrumentation courses scheduled to begin in the fall at DSLCC during a "Business After Hours" event hosted by the DSLCC Educational Foundation and the Alleghany Highlands Chamber of Commerce and Tourism on April 23.

Tina Hawley (left), assistant professor of nursing at Dabney S. Lancaster Community College, demonstrates how "sim-man", a mannequin which simulates a wide variety of symptoms, works for students in the DSLCC nursing program. "Sim-Man" is one of several such devices used to train nursing students. The nursing program was one of several programs highlighted during a "Business After Hours" hosted by the DSLCC Educational Foundation and the Alleghany Highlands Chamber of Commerce and Tourism on April 23.
