Alleghany Board Of Supervisors Meets June 2, 2015   ALLEGHANY COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS REGULAR MEETING AGENDA TUESDAY, JUNE 2, 2015, 7:00 P.M. 1.     CALL TO ORDER: 2.     INVOCATION:      3.     PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: 4.     MINUTES:           A.     Approval of the minutes of: (1) a regular meeting held on May 5, 2015; (2) an adjourned meeting held on May 19, 2015; and (3) an adjourned meeting held on May 27, 2015. 5.     PUBLIC HEARINGS:           A.     Public Hearing to consider an appointment to the Alleghany County School Board from the Jackson River District. The appointment is for a term of four years beginning July 1, 2015 and ending June 30, 2019.      B.     Public Hearing to consider the conveyance by Alleghany County of the following to Dominion Virginia Power:           1.     A 15' wide by approximately 20' long utility easement near Timber Lane in the Alleghany Regional Commerce Center to install underground facilities and remove overhead electric lines. The property identification # is 04200-00-000-001P.           2.     A 15' wide by approximately 969' long utility easement located at 1301 Commerce Center Drive in the Alleghany Regional Commerce Center to install underground facilities and remove overhead electric lines. The property identification # is 04200-00-000-001A.      C.     Joint Public Hearing with the Virginia Department of Transportation to receive public comment on the Secondary Six Year Improvement Plan for Fiscal Years 2016 through 2021. 6.     PUBLIC COMMENT:      7.     VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (VDOT) UPDATE:      A.     Ms. Susan Hammond, VDOT Resident Engineer - Update. 8.     UNFINISHED BUSINESS:           A.     Discuss and consider Performance Agreement with prospective business. 9.     NEW BUSINESS:           A.     Mr. Jake Gilmer, Western Virginia Workforce Development Board - Discuss amendments to the Chief Local Elected Officials (CLEO) charter agreement.      B.     Mr. Brandon Caldwell, Vice-President, Masonic Theatre Preservation Association - Update on the Masonic Theatre project.           C.     Discuss and consider authorizing the County Administrator to sign the contract with Hammond-Mitchell, Inc. for the demolition of the “Old Telephone Building.”      D.     The term of Ms. Debbie Henderson (Falling Spring District) on the C. P. Jones Memorial Library Board expires June 30, 2015. Terms are for 4 years and Ms. Henderson is eligible for reappointment.      E.     The term of Sheriff Kevin Hall on the Alcohol Safety Action Program expires June 15, 2015.
