 | Dr. Chuck Bartocci, program head of Advanced Technology Systems & Wind Energy Technology at Dabney S. Lancaster Community College, recently attended the “STEM Takes flight at Virginia Community Colleges” workshop at the NASA facility on Wallops Island, VA. Some of the activities included a safety briefing, a presentation on 21st Century Skills, a tour of Wallops Flight Facility, and sounding rockets -- Alaska Poker Flats case study simulations.
