Kroger's Fuel Promotion Helps Parents Save Back-to-School Expenses   Kroger customers can receive four times the fuel points by purchasing select gift cards through August 11 as part of the “Back to School” savings event.      Shoppers also will find savings on school supplies including book bags, writing utensils, lunch boxes and healthy snacks in each Kroger. College students will find deals on items such as fans, vacuum cleaners, small appliances and most stores have dorm-size refrigerators.      Points earned in the “4x Fuel Points” promotion can be redeemed for savings of up to $1 per gallon on fuel purchases at Kroger Fuel Centers. For example, $25 in participating gift cards equals 10-cents off per gallon of gas.      In addition, Kroger customers can earn fuel points through their everyday purchases with Kroger’s regular fuel points program. With the program, customers can earn 100 fuel points for every $100 in groceries purchased. Earn double points every day on eligible gift card purchases, and earn points when they fill prescriptions. Redeem up to 1,000 points for up to $1 in savings at Kroger Fuel Centers in one fill-up. Customers also can redeem fuel points at participating Shell stations.
