 | El Wilson (right) is Dabney S. Lancaster Community College’s new High School Career Coach for Rockbridge County High School in Lexington and Parry McCluer High School in Buena Vista. A 30-year veteran of career coaching in both the public and private sectors, Wilson is a graduate of Lynchburg College and received her Master’s Degree in Rehabilitative Counseling from the Medical College of Virginia Campus at Virginia Commonwealth University. A native of Lynchburg, Wilson will be working with high school students to define their career aspirations and to recognize community college and other postsecondary programs, including apprenticeships and workforce training, that can help students achieve their educational and financial goals. Wilson will be at the DSLCC Rockbridge Regional Center in Buena Vista on Wednesdays and at the two high schools on other days.
