Bright Star Theatre At The Clifton Forge Public Library Summer Reading Program

Clifton Forge, VA (July 8, 2016) - The Clifton Forge Public Library will welcome Bright Star Theatre to its summer reading program for children ages 3-12 on Tuesday, July 12.

Bright Star Theatre will present “Once Upon a Time”. Literature comes to life in this high-energy performance that combines the two classic fairy tales of “Cinderella” and “Jack and the Beanstalk.” A giant who lumbers above the set and a growing beanstalk add to the hilarity of the story.

Following “Once Upon a Time”, healthy snacks will be provided.

Parents or guardians should accompany their preschoolers and primary grade children.

The program will begin at 11:00 a.m.  It will be held at the Masonic Amphitheatre on Church Street.  In case of inclement weather, the program will be held at the Clifton Forge Fire Department, located at 701 Church Street.

The Summer Free Lunch Program is also held at the Clifton Forge Fire Department for children ages 18 and younger.  Lunch is served from 11:30-12:30.

Following the performance by Bright Star Theatre, children may wish to participate in the free lunch program.

For information about any library programs, call the Clifton Forge Public Library, at 863-2519.
