Water Line Improvements For Commercial and McCormick Boulevard Set   Clifton Forge, VA (Oct. 14, 2016) - The Water Line Improvements Commercial and McCormick Blvd Project will start on the 17th of October 2016. The areas of work will be on Church Street from McCormick to Commercial Ave and McCormick Blvd from Church to Pine Street. The existing undersized water main will be replaced with a new 8 inch water main with all house services in this affected area also being moved to the new main. The purpose is to improve water quality and improve fire flows for this part of the town. There will be some lane closures, traffic detours and intermittent delays to facilitate this work. As always with outside work, the weather may delay this schedule. Any changes will be posted on the Town’s web site at: www.cliftonforgeva.gov and on barricades at the entry points to each location. The Town requests your cooperation and patience in observing signs and flag persons for the safety of the workers and the public.
