In Trump In Charge Anymore? LETTER TO THE EDITOR   April 22nd, 2017 Dear Editor, AlleghanyJournal.com Is Trump in charge anymore? WikiLeaks saved Trump when he was being slandered by the corporate media as well as elites from both parties during a vicious campaign. WikiLeaks exposed Obama's administration's efforts to spy on Trump and many of his campaign staff. So why would Trump bite the hand that feeds him? The truth is he would not. I truly believe that the Deep State,"the establishment government with all its operatives", has gotten to him. I feel that they told him to just be a figurehead who gets to play golf and stay in Florida 25% of the time. Perhaps they made him an offer he could not refuse and he accepted it rather than risk everything, including his life. Trump is no longer in charge of Assange, the Clintons, North Korea or any other critical matter. Perhaps all he wanted was the title and adulation but never the responsibilities. I am of the opinion though that he actually wanted to be a reformer during the campaign but once he discovered how hard it was when he became President, he decided to buckle because he lacked the intestinal fortitude. While hopefully I am wrong and Trump is able to regain his legitimate authority, another factor to consider is his age. He will be 71 in less than two months. Will he be able to withstand the pressure of dealing with the seasoned power brokers who have massive authority at their disposal? Only time will tell.
