Clifton Forge, VA (June 16, 2017) - Clifton Forge, June 16, 2017 — The DSLCC Educational Foundation has awarded more than $135,000 in scholarships to area residents, including four graduating seniors from James River High School. The students were presented their scholarships totaling more than $9,000 at the JRHS awards night on May 16th.
The JRHS scholarship recipients include:
Bethany Renata Chesnut, Ferguson Proffit Nursing Scholarship and Dabney S. Lancaster Memorial Scholarship; Rebecca Lynne Hall, Ferguson Proffit Nursing Scholarship, Dabney S. Lancaster Memorial Scholarship, and Bank of Botetourt H. Watts Steger, III Scholarship; Shaun Thomas Hammond, Lumos Networks Scholarship and L. Paul Wiggins Memorial Scholarship; Andrew Sidney Harless, Ferguson Proffit Nursing Scholarship and Bill and Lang Wilson Commonwealth Legacy Scholarship.
