Summer Reading To Present Creative Art Program at Clifton Forge Public Library

 
Clifton Forge, VA (July 13, 2017) - The Clifton Forge Public Library Summer Reading Program will offer a creative art program for area children ages 4-12.

“Oil and Water Don’t Mix” will be presented by the Alleghany Highlands Arts and Crafts Center. They will offer fun-filled, creative activities using various techniques including marbleized paper and crayon resistance.

Each child should bring a t-shirt to use as a smock. Extra shirts will be available at the library.


The program will be held on Wednesday, July 19 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. It will meet in the Michael Armstrong Community Room of the Clifton Forge Public Library.


Parents or guardians should accompany their preschoolers and primary grade children.
 
The Summer Free Lunch Program is also held at the Clifton Forge Fire Department for children ages 18 and younger.  Lunch is served from 11:30 a.m - 12:30 p.m.  Following “Oil and Water Don’t Mix”, children may wish to participate in the free lunch program.
