Alleghany County Schools’ Summer Activity Bus Schedule   Low Moor, VA (July 27, 2017) - Alleghany County Public Schools’ summer activity bus schedule will begin Thursday, July 27, 2017. The buses are for students participating in any school-related activity at Alleghany High School and Clifton Middle School. All school attendance areas will be served. Parents and students should check the local newspaper and school newsletters to determine the starting dates for their sport or activity. Football practice will begin on Thursday, July 27, 2017. Cross Country, Cheerleading, Volleyball, and Golf will begin on Monday, July 31, 2017. Beginning July 27, 2017, through August 8, 2017, activity buses will begin at approximately 7:00 a.m. and will depart Clifton Middle School at 3:45 p.m. and Alleghany High School at 4:00 p.m., with the exception of Monday, August 7, 2017, in which activity buses will depart Clifton Middle School at 10:15 a.m. and Alleghany High School at 10:30 a.m., due to Open House being held. Beginning the first day of school, Wednesday, August 9, 2017, activity buses will depart Clifton Middle School at 6:15 p.m. and Alleghany High School at 6:30 p.m. Activity buses do not run on Fridays or weekends.
