Alleghany County Schools Notes Academic Calendar Change   Low Moor, VA (Sept. 20, 2017) - Alleghany County Public Schools has announced a change in the academic calendar. Parent Conferences were originally scheduled for September 27, 2017 and will now be held on October 9, 2017. The staff development day originally scheduled for October 9, 2017 will now be held on September 27, 2017. The school board voted to approve this change on Monday, September 18, 2017.
