Rockbridge Habitat For Humanity Sets Annual Meeting, Oct. 17   Lexington, VA (Oct. 16, 2017) - Rockbridge Area Habitat for Humanity will hold its annual meeting Tuesday, October 17 at 5:00 p.m. in the Brady Chapel at Lexington Presbyterian Church. Area residents interested in learning more about the work Habitat does in our community or in volunteering with Rockbridge Area Habitat are encouraged to attend. Following opening remarks by board chair Skip Perry, committee chairs and Executive Director Lynn Leech will present highlights of FY-16-17. The 2017-18 officer slate will be announced, and “Helping Hand” awards and the “Golden Hammer” award will be presented to those who made notable contributions to the affiliate in 2016-17. A recent homeowner and recipient of home repairs will describe their partnership with Habitat and explain how their improved housing has impacted their lives.
