Ash Wednesday Service at First Presbyterian Church   Covington, VA (Feb. 12, 2018) - The season of Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, February 14. First Presbyterian Church in Covington will hold a worship service beginning at 7:00 p.m., preceded by a soup supper at 6:00 p.m.       The service will be held in the Chapel and will include the imposition of ashes, a sign of mortality and humility before God.      The church is located at 185 N. Maple Ave. in Covington. Entrance to the Chapel is on Locust St., across from the Mid-City Mall parking lot.
