Barter Theatre Encore Players to Perform Aesop’s Fables at The Historic Masonic Theatre   Clifton Forge, VA (Feb. 20, 2018) - Aesop’s Fables will be presented on Saturday, March 3 at 2:30 pm by the Barter Theatre ENCORE Players at The Historic Masonic Theatre.
Aesop is one of the most beloved storytellers of all time with the ability to weave fantastic tales with timeless lessons of truth. He is believed to have lived in ancient Greece between 620 and 564 BC. Of diverse origins, the stories associated with his name have descended to modern times through oral tradition until they were collected three centuries after Aesop’s death. Barter Theatre ENCORE Players present an afternoon of family fun and discovery. Join Aesop and his friends in this exciting musical adventure and experience fables such as Androcles and the Lion, The Oak and the Reed, The Fox Without a Tail, The Beast in Love, The Tortoise and The Hare, and The Boy Who Cried Wolf brought to life as only the Barter Players can.
