Live Broadcast at DSLCC Feb. 27 Features Career Expert

 
Clifton Forge, VA (Feb. 22, 2018) - Kathryn Minshew, CEO & Co-Founder of The Muse, a career platform that has helped over 50 million people as they seek career satisfaction, is participating in a February 27 broadcast event sponsored by the Dabney S. Lancaster Community College Chapter of The National Society of Leadership and Success. The broadcast begins at 7 pm in the Moomaw Center on the DSLCC main campus in Clifton Forge and at the DSLCC Rockbridge Regional Center in Buena Vista.

The event, free to all students, staff and faculty, as well as the public, will be streamed live and hosted by Montclair State University in New Jersey. All viewers are invited to submit questions via Twitter and Facebook, which will be answered live during the broadcast.

Minshew is also the author of “The New Rules of Work,” a modern playbook to guide people through the new world of work. Prior to founding The Muse, Kathryn worked on vaccine introduction in Rwanda and Malawi with the Clinton Health Access Initiative and previously worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company.

This is the sixth installment of the 2017-2018 Speaker Broadcast series sponsored by the Society. The Society’s Speaker Broadcast series, which reaches more than 600 college campuses each month during the academic year, is designed to support The National Society of Leadership and Success’s overall mission of Building Leaders Who Make a Better World.
