Did You Know? Seminar Offered at the Alleghany Highlands Regional Library

Covington, VA (March 16, 2018) - In an effort to provide quality information to benefit adult patrons, the Alleghany Highlands Regional Library is offering a seminar entitled “Did You Know? Finance.”
This class will be held on Saturday, March 24th, from 10:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. Brandon Caldwell from Highlands Community Bank will speak on these financial topics: budgeting, credit scores, compound interest, and credit protection. The event will be held in the W.N. “John” Rice Community Room.
“When we evaluated the programs offered here at the Alleghany Highlands Regional Library, we wanted to include activities for adults who can’t participate during the normal work day,” Director Lisa Hicks explained. “We also wanted topics that were relevant, and this seminar meets the criteria. Budgeting and compound interest are topics that many people find tricky, and everybody needs to know about credit scores and credit protection. We invite everybody to join us on March 24th for this important program.”
