Clifton Forge and Historic Masonic Theatre Featured in BlueRidge County Magazine

 
Clifton Forge, VA (April 14, 2018) - The May/June 2018 issue of BlueRidge Country, Best of the Mountains features articles on both The Historic Masonic Theatre as one of ten Historic Theatre in the mountains and downtown Clifton Forge as one of several “Towns to Explore by Foot”. BlueRidge Country is an international award-winning bimonthly regional magazine with a readership of 210,000, covering travel, history, food, festivals, outdoors and the environment in the mountains of seven southern states.

The magazine gives a brief description of The Historic Masonic Theatre and mentions its history and renovation. In “Towns to Explore by Foot”, the magazine references Clifton Forge’s shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Jackson River, Smith Creek Trail, Red Lantern Inn, the downtown restaurants, The Historic Masonic Theatre in addition to arts venues, Fire & Light Gallery, Alleghany Highlands Arts & Crafts Center and Clifton Forge School of the Arts. Several paragraphs are devoted to C&O Railway Heritage Center.

In the Blue Ridge Parkway Guide Feature of the magazine, Clifton Forge, The Historic Masonic Theatre and Humpback Bridge are noted on the Parkway map.
