Alleghany County School Board Personnel Actions, 10/15/18   Callaghan, VA (Oct. 15, 2018) - At the conclusion of closed session at Callaghan Elementary School on Monday, October 15, 2018 the School Board took the following personnel action: Emily K. Fury was approved as a School Counselor at Mountain View Elementary School. The School Board also approved Chelsea A. Hall as a substitute teacher, Cynthia P. Gier as a substitute teacher assistant and shuttle driver. Sheila C. Bates and Vanessa D. Givens were approved as substitute school nurses. Extra-Curricular appointments at Alleghany High School include Adrienne D. Young - Academic Assistant Coach, Shane S. Clarke - Forensics Head Coach, and Sarah A. Blevins - Springs Musical Assistant Director. Gregory L. Entsminger was appointed Boys Basketball Head Coach at Clifton Middle School and Alexis J. Keith was approved as a Volunteer Girls Basketball Assistant Coach at Alleghany High School.
