Virginia State Trooper Arrested In Child Porn Case

SALEM, Va. – On April 5, 2019, the Virginia State Police arrested Justin B. Hipps, 35, of Covington, Va., on one felony count of possession of child pornography. He was transported to the Alleghany County Jail.
Hipps was assigned as a trooper to Area 38 in the Salem Division and was hired by the Department in February 2007. Hipps is no longer employed by the Department.
