CF Easter Bonnet Parade Set Sat., April 20th   Clifton Forge, VA (April 11, 2019) - Clifton Forge Main Street’s Annual Easter Bonnet/Hat Parade will take place on Saturday, April 20th at 11am. This is a great family event which welcomes participants of all ages. Prizes donated by the The Club Car Shop and Deli, Livy’s Closet, Lollie’s Quilt Shop, The Colorful Chameleon and Jack Mason’s Tavern and Brewery will be awarded to the winning men and women while large prefilled Easter Baskets will be awarded to the boy and girl winners. Categories include most beautiful, most handsome, most fun, and most creative Easter hat/bonnet. The cutest dog entry will also receive a special prize. Parade participants are asked to line up at 10:45am at the Elks Lodge where they will receive their number. Be sure to bring a camera and get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny by the festive dĂ©cor furnished by The Flower Center at the finish line located at the Sona Bank plaza. Immediately following head over to Scott Hill Retirement Community for free food, face painting, visits with the Easter Bunny, and an Easter egg hunt or visit the C & O Railway Heritage Center for their Easter EGGspress going on from 12-4pm. Admission is $5 for ages 6 and up which includes a mini train ride, motorcar ride, snacks, and an Easter egg hunt at noon sponsored by the Clifton Forge Police Department.
