Alleghany Co. Public Schools Summer 2019 Bus Schedule   Covington, VA (May 21, 2019) - The Alleghany County Public Schools will provide transportation on a limited and regional basis for the summer school programs being held at Mountain View, Clifton Middle and Alleghany High School beginning May 28th and ending June 20th; Monday-Thursday. Alleghany High School will hold an additional summer session, beginning June 24th and ending July 18th. There will be no summer school on July 4th. Approximate schedules are listed below and can be subject to adjustment after the first few days of school. Parents are responsible for getting the child to and from the bus stop and are encouraged to supervise their children while at the bus stop. Students should be at the bus stop at least 10 minutes before the bus is anticipated to arrive. All times are approximate and not all stops are listed. Elementary, middle and high school students will ride the same bus in the morning. Elementary and middle will ride together in the afternoon and buses will return to complete the High School run.
