Alleghany County Sets July 4th Hours   Low Moor, VA (June 6, 2019) - The following offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2019 in observance of Independence Day:      County Offices located in the County Governmental Complex, 9212 Winterberry Avenue, Covington, VA      These offices will reopen for business on Friday, July 5, 2019.      The Island Ford Transfer Station will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on July 4th.
