FastForward Funding Available for New Programs at DSLCC   Clifton Forge, VA (July 10, 2019) - “FastForward”, a financial aid program that provides funding for select short-term workforce training for qualifying Virginia residents, has added a few new programs to the list at Dabney S. Lancaster Community College: Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Massage Therapy and NCCER Electrical – Level 1. Current programs available for FastForward funding are Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A), NCCER Core Curriculum, GTAW and SMAW Welding Basics, Certified Nursing Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, and Pharmacy Tech. FastForward allows students to get back to work quickly, start a new career, or even expand skills by completing training and getting a credential in weeks or months rather than several semesters or years. Many students are also eligible for additional FastForward financial assistance funding that is income-based.
