Covington Author Releases Children's Book Encouraging Kids to Play Outside   Covington, VA (July 12, 2019) - Michele Cook, an author from Covington, Virginia, released a children’s book called “Goats in Coats: Patsy and Delores Go Exploring” to encourage children to explore the world around them. The book follows two goats, Patsy and Delores and their horse friends Huck and Frog, on a grand adventure down Honeysuckle Hollow trail. At the end of the book there is a nature scavenger hunt children can do with their parents. “I really wanted children to get excited about reading and exploring the natural world around them. There are a lot of really fun things out there for children and adults to explore.” said the author.
