Brown Bag Book Club to Meet October 17   Clifton Forge, VA (Oct. 11, 2019) - The Clifton Forge Public Library's Brown Bag Book Club will meet on Thursday, October 17. The group will discuss Barbara Kingsolver’s "Flight Behavior." A “New York Times” bestseller, Amazon considers Kingsolver’s novel “a truly stunning and unforgettable work.” Set in present-day Appalachia, “Kingsolver's riveting story concerns a young wife and mother on a failing farm in rural Tennessee who experiences something she cannot explain.” On the run from her stifling life, she charges up the mountain above her husband’s family farm and stumbles onto a “valley of fire” filled with millions of monarch butterflies.
