Alleghany Humane Society Social for the Shelter High Acres Village, Arritt Funeral Home, WestRock Sponsoring The Event   Covington, VA (Oct. 14, 2019) - The Alleghany Humane Society invites patrons to “Social for the Shelter” at the Historic Masonic Theatre. The event takes place Saturday, November 16, at 510 Main Street, Clifton Forge, VA, from 6 pm to 8 pm. High Acres Village, Arritt Funeral Home, and WestRock will be major sponsors for this event. The $20 admission includes hors d’oeuvres from Jack Mason’s Tavern, music by DJ Gavin Haynes, and the chance to bid on a great variety of auction items. A cash bar will be available. There will be an exciting selection of silent auction items just in time for your holiday shopping. A sampling includes: golf from The Homestead, locally handcrafted items, artwork, Virginia State Parks stay, great selection of pet products, certificates for goods and services, Alleghany Highlands Arts Council season passes, sports events tickets, and more! The Alleghany Humane Society is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization.
