Arts Council Opens Season With Richmond Symphony Nov. 9th

 
Covington, VA (Nov. 1, 2019) - The Alleghany Highlands Arts Council will open its 2019-20 Performing Arts Series on Saturday with a classical program by the Richmond Symphony. The matinee performance begins at 3:00 PM at The Historic Masonic Theatre in Clifton Forge..

Renowned for six decades of exquisite musical excellence, the Richmond Symphony will present a classical program of works by Mozart, Schumann, Elgar and Beethoven. This afternoon performance at the Historic Masonic Theatre will submerge the listener in timeless music of the masters.

Funding has been provided, in part, by the Virginia Commission for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts, Alleghany County and the City of Covington.

Individual tickets to this event are $15 adults and $10 students and are on sale now at AlleghanyArts4All.com. There are special group offers for groups of 10 or more. To inquire about this offer please call the Arts Council or email AlleghanyArts4All@gmail.com.

This concert is also included in the Arts Council full season subscription. Season tickets are still being sold online and by Arts Council board members. These will be available for purchase at the door on Saturday afternoon as well.
