The Clifton Forge Public Library will welcome Chuck Almarez as he hosts the program, “2020 Census: Why It Counts and What It Means.”
“The 2020 Census is only three months away,” Mr. Almarez says. “The number of people who complete the census form will directly affect the amount of Federal funds and grants allocated to local communities and to the state of Virginia.”
A 2020 Census Recruiter, Mr. Almarez will present information about the census, what it means, how it works, and how it will affect you. Information about jobs for the 2020 Census and how to apply will also be provided.
The meetings will be held on Monday, January 6 at 6:00 p.m.; Wednesday, January 8 at 2:00 p.m.; and Tuesday, January 14 at 2:00 p.m., and again at 6:00 p.m.
The meetings will be held in the Library’s Michael Armstrong Community Room. The library is located at 535 Church Street. | | | |
