WestRock’s Covington Mill Supports Susan G. Komen Virginia Blue Ridge   Covington, VA (Feb. 13, 2020) - he Covington mill recently presented a donation to Susan G. Komen Virginia Blue Ridge, as a sponsor of the Pink Tie Gala. The Pink Tie Gala is a night of food, music, and inspiration to honor cancer survivors and fighters, as well as to remember those we have lost. It is also a time to raise money to help fight cancer and assist those who are battling. The Gala will be held at the Historic Masonic Theater on Saturday, February 29. Over the past three years, the Pink Tie Gala has raised over $50,000 to support cancer warriors. Proceeds from the Gala will be split between Susan G. Komen VA Blue Ridge and Giving Light to Our Warriors (GLOW), a local assistance program formed by the Pink Tie Gala team. GLOW supports local cancer fighters with things such as electricity assistance, nutritional supplements, gasoline, and utility assistance.
