Board Of Supervisors Meets March 3, 2019   ALLEGHANY COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS REGULAR MEETING AGENDA TUESDAY, MARCH 3, 2020, 7:00 P.M. 1.     CALL TO ORDER: 2.     INVOCATION:      3.     PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: 4.     MINUTES:           A.     Approval of the minutes of: (1) a regular meeting held on February 4, 2020. 5.     PUBLIC HEARING:           A.     Public Hearing to consider amendments to Chapter 10-Animals and Fowl of “The Code of the County of Alleghany, Virginia” in Section 10-9 in relation to nuisance companion animals straying or trespassing.      6.     PUBLIC COMMENT:      7.     VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (VDOT) UPDATE:      A.     Ms. Susan Hammond, VDOT Resident Engineer - Update. 8.     UNFINISHED BUSINESS:           A.     An appointment needs to be made to the Board of Building Code Appeals for a term to begin immediately and end January 20, 2025. This appointment can be from any district.      9.     NEW BUSINESS:      A.     Mr. Ryan Muterspaugh, Director of Public Safety - Update on radio system project.      B.     Discuss and consider supplemental appropriations in FY20 for the Sheriff’s Office (insurance proceeds), Economic Development (Opportunity Zone grant award), and Asset Forfeiture (fund balance).      C.     The term of Mr. Bernard “Mac” Campbell (Clifton Forge East District) on the Industrial Development Authority expires March 25, 2020.
