Eastern Alleghany Christian Ministerial Association Sets Holy Week Services

| Clifton Forge, VA (April 1, 2020) - The annual Holy Week services will be hosted at Central United Methodist Church Monday, 04/06 through Friday, 04/10, from noon until 12:30 daily. In order to comply with the Governor's executive order, the services will be broadcast and no one will gather at the church.
Lynn, the minister of the day and someone sharing music will be the only ones present at the church daily.
The Association has created a new Facebook page and will live stream daily. The Facebook page is the full name Eastern Alleghany Christian Ministerial Association. The service will also be posted to YouTube with the same name.
The schedule for speakers is as follows:
Monday - Rev. Glenn Linthicum, retired
Tuesday - Rev. David Hanks, Iron Gate Baptist
Wednesday - Pastor Tammy Wolfe, Living Life Ministries
Thursday - Rev. Paul Brokaw, Clifton Forge Presbyterian Church
Friday - Rev. Lynn Wright, Central United Methodist Church
The Holy Weeks services typically include an offering for the benefit of the Association's emergency fund. The fund helps residents in the eastern area of the Alleghany Highlands primarily with utility emergencies. Donations can be mailed to 1601 Chestnut St., Clifton Forge VA 24422. | | | |
